BC HST & its Impact on Real Estate

In the summer of 2010 B.C. will implement the 12% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). In regards to real estate this means a partial rebate of the provincial portion of the HST for new housing to ensure that purchases of new homes up to $400,000 bear no more tax than under the current PST system.
